Black Suit

This is a tough question since most of King's character suffer a horrible fate but consdering if you were able to enter King's universe and enter one of his stories..
which king story would you like to be apart of?
and which king story would you never like to be apart of?
For me, I would love to be apart of The Shining.. it would be terrifying but it seems like the kind of story I would love to be in.. and also Duma Key
Gerald's Game is a story I would hate to be in.. oh god, the horror!
I dont think I would want to be one of those children who's haunted by IT..

Definitely, "The Stand". First, to have survived the population reduction would be a terrific rush. Second, to have all of the petty day to day crap out of the way and be able to focus your life on a righteous cause.
I guess that says a lot about me. It has been said that we have seen the future. Turns out that cars don't fly, jetpacks aren't practical and the foreseen utopia is just a boring sham. We have become a generation of 'collapsists' looking forward to the next disaster. THAT'S where the action is!

There are a few I would enjoy being in. Desperation, one of my favorite King stories; Carrie; Christine, I mean come on a possessed car these are just a few.
The one I would not want to be in would have to be Children of the Corn. I saw this movie and something about it just gave me the chills.

I would like to be the raven that pops up here and there!
Seriously Soo many options. I'd hafta opt for Rose Madder.
How cool would that be to escape INTO a painting and use
it's energy to ensnare enemies.

Hmm, I was def. going to say first and foremost that I would NOT want to be in Gerald's Game...! Geez!!
As for a story I would like to be a part of, well despite all the sh*t that goes down, I think I would have loved to be a part of the band of survivors in The Stand.

Any post-apocalytic story Sai King has written I wanna be in it.
I never want to be in Dreamcatcher, it's just a very gruesome story to be in.

I'd like to be a Stand survivor. Preferably NOT in Vegas...
I'd not like to be in Cujo or Pet Sematary or any other "my child died" stories...

I would turn to a raving lunatic if I ever come any close to a Pet Sematary sort of scenario.Frankly,I wouldn´t like to see myself in any of his stories.Hey¡¡Wait¡You know that poem he wrote for Owen King?I think it´s in the Nightmares and Dreamscapes book.Yeah,I could be there.Sit on a bench and watch Mr.King take his son to school, and right away come back home.It might be just an innocent poem, but anyway I wouldn´dare to stay any longer, you never know what can happen next in the S.k universe. So that´s it.That´s as far as I would go.

Halfway through my first reading of The Stand. Aside from the civilisation-crushing pandemic, there seems to be a rather large amount of copping off and bike-riding, which must be rather enjoyable to be part of.
There are a couple of unsavoury characters, but I am sure it will all work out nicely in the end....

Would hate to be in The Stand, I just don't think my luck is good enough to avoid being part of that 99%.....
For some reason I would love to be in The Dead Zone. Or Duma Key.

Duma Key!!
I would love to know the people in Insomnia, too - and it would be so cool to live in any of the stories set in Florida.
I always want to live in the same story as the most recent one I have read - except "Desperation" & "Rose Madder"
And no - I do not want to live in the same story as IT - ever!

I think I would leave this up to Sai King to decide? lol
Although I think I would like to be part of the Dark Tower (I want to give Sheemie a big hug and tell him it is all gonna be ok and I want to adopt Jake and Oy) or as others say I would like to be one of the survivors in The Stand.
I quite like the thought of being in IT as well though! Strange but I relate to Bev (I think that was her name......been years since I read it)

I think this is really interesting.
Personally I would love to be one of Roland`s gun slingers. Roland is never going to stop looking for that tower so even if he leaves us by the wayside there will always be infinite possibilities for reincarnation.

The only book I can think of wanting to be in is the Dark Tower
There are a few other that I could be in Hearts, Dead Zone, Green Mile, Duma Key...the mild ones.
I would never make it through the others, I'm too big of a chicken when it comes so monsters and demons!!!!

I would like to be in The Dark Tower... Avoiding certain gems like Gasher (nasty ****), Morded, Blaine the scary choo choo train (!), and the freakish, dark-dwelling centipede-creature that crawls after Roland & Susannah in book 7.
I would not wish to be trapped in The Mist.

I wouldn't want to be in Needful things. Luckily, in that that book the haunt's ploy was uncovered. But at the end, everybody knew who hated who and why. I wouldn't want people knowing that about me. :-)
I would want to be in the talisman alternate universydealybob.
That would be pretty neat.

To Be: Roland, even chest deep in the turdy sewer water under Derry in "IT."
I AM a lawyer (or at least used to be--might make a change), so I'd feel right comfy.
Not to Be: Any minor character

Hmmm....I have already lived something very similar to what Rosie McClendon endured in "Rose Madder"...but in my world, Ze Bool still lurks. I would love to have that painting and be assured that justice had been served.
Max Devore scared the snot out of me, even more so than the Micmac who had posessed Sara Tidwell, so even though "Bag of Bones" is on my top 3 list of favorites, I would NOT want to be in it!

Hey, yeah. Change mine to that one. I always conveniently forget that story.
I love SK's short fiction, just love it. And that particular collection was pretty sweet. But that story.
**cringe**
I also wouldn't like to be the guy in Ride the Bullet.

Well, there are a lot of Stephen King stories you wouldn't want to be in. Sure, they're nice to read about, but tons of people die in horrible ways...
If I was guaranteed not to die, I would like to be in either 'Salem's Lot or Rose Red. Mostly I like Rose Red, the house was just awesome-looking and I've always wanted to see proof of the existence of ghosts.

I'm going to take the easy way out. I will remain a Constant Reader, it's safer on this side of the page. Would not want to be Stephen King. Love his work and have undying respect for him, but can't imagine how he sleeps at night. If I was him, I'm afraid I would scare myself and be up all night every night just rocking in the corner and crying.

I would LOVE to be in The Stand, as long as I survived Captain Tripps. I often wonder what it would really be like to have the whole world "Turned off" so to speak.
As for HATE, that's The Shining for sure. The isolation! My husband all psycho and trying to kill me and my child. Horrid! And those are two of my favorite books.
