QUESTION: After reading and watching so many interviews and hearing about this book I really watch to read it (after my other King books) but the one thing I don't know is since they stopped printing it in teh US, is it availiable in teh UK seperately or is just part of the Bachman Book collection?

OPINION: I know the themes and the story mite have been used by people have actually taken there school/class hostage but I felt it was just a scapgoat when they blamed the book. Like blaming Manson for the one in Ohio. When Chaplin shot John Lennon in Liverpool, he was obsessed with The Catcher in the Rye...but the book doesnt get the blam efor it...I know its a different idea and everything but when people use scapgoats it suprising no one blamed it. Same in the UK here how we blamed videogames for a murder.

Hi,

Rage is only available secondhand as part of the Bachman Books. Trawl the secondhand and charity bookshops or try Amazon and E-bay, copies are usually available quite cheaply and it's well worth a read and searching out IMO.

I broadly agree with your second point, but I'm not going to discuss it until you've read it.

And Lennon was shot in New York, not Liverpool, where he was born.

"they" always try to blame whoever is in the radar at the time. I remember them blaming Pearl Jam for inspiring shcool shootings after the video of Jeremy came out in 1992. When in fact Jeremy was written in reaction to a school shooting. It is strange how profetic SK can be though.

Howdy pard,
If you want to simply read Rage and not buy it go to the library. If they dont have it in stock you can suggest they get it.I've done this at my local library several times(they didn't have Salems Lot)and I've never been refused. Also, the library will purchase the book you want so Mr.King will benefit in some way.
