This is a book or novella that is hard to find. I have it in paperback with art. This version is not a graphic novel. This is the only format that i have seen or heard of. I don't hear people talk about this book at all. Would be interested in what others know about this. Thanks!

I have it in that same foremat too. I've seen it in other formats online at way too high of a price to even consider purchasing it.

I haven't read it in a long time, but I did enjoy it. It's a great book.

I have it in the same format... a novel with art. I read it last year. I purchased my copy through Abebooks.com and it was the easiest Stephen King read I'd ever had. I enjoyed it. I remembered part of the way through the book that I had read it not long after it first came out. Funny how things crawl back into the light.

I love that little book.

I have it in this format also. It's been about 5 years at least since I read it, but I did enjoy it. I don't remember a lot about it, but I remember it being a thin book, and a really easy read.

Thanks all! I was friends with a used book store owner and he said in all his years in books, he had only seen two copies. One of them was mine. The cool thing is I got my copy for about 3 bucks! Please give me more info on this!

I liked Cycle, too, and partly due to it's length, partly due to it's classic subject, but mostly due to how well it was written.

I have the inexpensive, paperback with art version, which I probably came across at Half.com.

Was this story released in another version?

I have a hard cover with the graphics and like it a lot. My brother got it for me a few years back, I think he was visiting South Africa of all places. The drawings really added to the story and I liked it a lot - it was like a children book, only the story it told was way darker than the standard "And They Lived Happily Ever After" style.

I have it in this version: http://www.amazon.com/Cycle-Werewolf-Signet-Stephen-King/dp/0451822196/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1250748762&sr=8-1

The pages are all glossy and the illustrations are cool. A bit pricey (I bought it a long time ago, cover price) but pretty well worth it. I would have liked to see King release this as a full on novel.

The only other version I'm aware of was an edition that included King's screenplay for Silver Bullet. It's very rare and probably the edition that's going for so much on E-Bay and Amazon. As far as I know the book itself (sans screenplay) is still in print. I saw if a few months back at my local Barnes and Noble.

If you follow that link, you can get a used copy (like I did) for not too much. I got one for $4.00 plus $3.99 shipping. Not too shabby, huh?

It was such a short book, good story, though. I love the artwork. It would make a good movie.

It was adapted with the title Silver Bullet (http://www.stephenking.com/library/movie/silver_bullet.html).

The only time I read this was when I borrowed it from a local library in the late 90's. I don't recall ever seeing it since then.

I also have this book and i have seen it online in hard back for sale. When I looked into it turns out that it was never actually published in hard back. What I saw online was a rebound copy. If you look around you can find ways to get yours rebound free if you wish. The high school i graduated from years ago gets a large number done for free every year and offered to bind mine to. I declined because I wanted it origanal but there are ways.

You are correct--it is Silver Bullet (http://www.stephenking.com/library/movie/silver_bullet.html) for the film title.

I have been looking for a copy of Cycle of the Werewolf for years! I want a trade paperback or a hard cover. It's a great story, and Silver Bullet, which is based on this story, happens to be one of my favorite movies!!! Do you know where I can find a copy of this book in the sizes that I am looking for?

Silver Bullet was one of my teen/childhood favourite films. I'd nearly forgotten about it. I just ordered a copy of it, and got a copy of the combined screenplay/Cycle of the Werewolf novella (second hand so not pristine)

I just bought a brand new copy of Cycle of the Werewolf. It's a trade size paperback with glossy pages and cool illustrations. I was very surprised to find this title still available brand new!!!!!

I just finished reading this...

It was ok. Not the best SK though. I thought that the chapters didn't really interlink very well and the whole story was way too short. Should have been at least another 150 pages. One thing I did like though, that we didn't really see enough of was the town of Tarker's Mills. I'd like to see more of this place.
