Where can I find out about posting ranking. When do I stop being a jr memeber or new member? And are there any benefits to rising in posting count?

Here's the ranking system:
New Member 0
Junior Member 1
Member 30
Senior Member 100
Prolific Member 1,000
Uber Member 10,000
Immortal Member 100,000
Other than being able to PM and join Social Groups, there's no extra benefit for member status.

Many thanks!! Is it possible to you your own avatar, or do you have to use in-house ones provided though the board?

I've posted more than 30 at this point, why am I still listed as a junior?

It's supposed to be automatic but every so often it needs to be done manually. I'll change it for you.

At least you were a junior. I've posted 23 times and I am still listed as a new member, not even a junior (even though Ms. Mod's list said 1 post). I wonder if it's really 10 posts and if it just takes time.

Yup JD will without a doubt become the first immortal..although he probably cut his own post count a lot by suggesting the welcome button (fab idea)..either way it is pretty obvious to most of us he is King of this board.:biggrin2:

Hi,
Well, thankee, but the addition of the very handy (and Mod friendly!) 'Welcome' and 'Thanks' have cut down somewhat on my prolixity, n'est pas, Ms Mod?

Yours and several others who were frequent posters especially to the Newbies thread. :smile2: I truly do appreciate it, though, as I've noticed a real difference in having more time to do the "many other functions" for Steve. :smile2:

John did encourage posters to use it (thank you, John :smile2:), but it's something that Jordan and I had already thought of and Jordan came up with the icon for it so big kudos to Jordan on that one.

Ms. Mod,
Can I get updated to member? I never did make junior member, and I have nearly 40 posts. I would like to be able to join a group. I know it is supposed to be automatic, but if you got the chance, I would truly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.:biggrin2:

According to your status for number of posts (it shows up in the right hand corner of your posts), you have 34 posts so far which puts you up to Member status. I've changed it from the Admin side to reflect that although it should have done so automatically. :smile2:
