A while back my husband found The Girl who loved Tom Gordon pop up book in a second hand book store for 10 dollars...(a very good night in the foster household)..I loved it and am just wondering how common they are.

There were both limited editions and mass market editions but I don't have the exact print run for the mass market edition.

The limited edition was signed and included a slipcase and additional pages. There were only 125 copies issued and I think it cost about $300.

I found mine at Border's for $5 as well. I know it's not the limited edition, but I don't care, I love it anyway. It has also proved a great way of introducing Steve-O to my kids.

I found mine on e-bay for only $4. Hadn't even been opened. What a bargain.

I've got the mass market edition which I ordered several years ago. It kills my daughter that it is on my bookshelf, and she needs me with her to look at it. I know that if I allowed her to look through mine when I'm not with her that the pop ups would end up getting ripped, and pages would get torn. She really likes the book. I should try to find a copy just for her.

I purchased the mass market edition when it first came out for my granddaughter. We get to share it:smile2:

I bought one at Barnes & Noble a while ago, my son loved it. I thought it was a good way to introduce Stephen King to my kid and he now enjoys Stephen King books also.
