yea as soon as I started reading the book I couldn't get Tim out of my head as Edgar, it's a perfect fit, I think.
And the same thing for Wireman, the more I read on, I couldn't get Phillip out of my head..
As I read on, I pictured these two actors as the two leads and it was perfect.. it makes the experience of reading it alot more enjoyable that way.

You know Tim Robbins never entered my mind but you have a great idea there. He's very good.

Hhhmmm...I don't know. I do like Tim Robbins, but he's almost a little too nutty/creepy to be Edgar, you know? Don't laugh, but what about Craig T. Nelson (from The Family Stone era)?

I read Gerald's Game YEARS ago, and I still remember how I pictured Daphne Zuniga as Jessie (remember Daphne?) LOL

Tim Robbins truly would be the PERFECT Edgar Freemantle. I Love Duma Key. Tim Robbins was great as Andy Dufresne in The Shawshank Redemption and Dave Boyle in Mystic River.

.Very good, the first step it´s admitting it.You´ve been very brave.Actually,it has encouraged me to come out and say that,well...I use to watch Pressing Catch¡¡¡And I thought it was for real¡¡¡yes because, you see, once Hulk Hogan got his eyebrow split open by the Last Warrior, and blood poured from it but at the end they were friends so it was o.k.
OhmyGod!

I loved Melrose Place...specially kimberly...she was sooo crazy!
I think Kate Winslet would be perfect!!! She can look so scared...but also very strong.
But I pictured a more older person...isnt jessie like 50? In that case I would prefer: susan surandon. If it would be an arthousefilmflick...and the situation would be different...like two man or the man would be chained to the bed, I would pick: David bowie (And he also could do the soundtrack! woheoe).
Duma key: Clint Eastwood in the leading role!!! I always pictured him...
Anette Bennign could be Lisey! In Lisey's strory.

Talisman:
As far as I can see right now, this would make a great cast:
Jack: Cameron Bright (whom I believe has already been suggested)
Lily/Laura DeLoessian: Maura Tierney
Speedy: Jamie Foxx
Morgan Sloat: Gary Oldman
Smokey: Mike Starr
Rev. Gardiner/Osmand: Christopher Walken
