Hi all! I wanted to share the dream I had the last two nights to anyone interested. Sunday night I dreamed I was with Roland and his ka-tet exploring in some forest. Everytime I would wake and go back to sleep it would take up where it left off, and it seemed so real. Last night I dreamed I met Mr. King and he gave me a book yet to be released, I can't remember the title but it was a short novel with many colorful drawings. I do remember it was about the circus, strange I know. Anyway, maybe there will be more to come! God bless all!

I think I dreamt of Roland only once. It was while I was reading song of Susannah. Very erie dream. It is hard trying to convince others (outside of this site, of course) of the significance of dreaming of the Ka Tet. I am glad to know others out there too.

I've never dreamed about characters from books or movies. :)

Welcome to the Message Board! Sounds like one heck of a great dream. I love it when a dream "continues" after waking up and going back to sleep.

I once dreamed that I was a butterfly who was dreaming of being a man.
But what am I in reality? Butterfly or man? :eyebrow:

Neither have I. I'd like to though, but my dreams are usually boring.

Butterfly. To quote Bart Simpson:
"No one ever suspects the butterfly!"

Both. Man in reality and butterfly in deep subconsciousness. :smile2:

you should see my post in the general discussion under "have you met stephen king". or not, it's actually just rambling crap but it does mention sk and dreams. do you want to hear something weird though? even if you don't just say yes anyway and nod your head and go "yep.yep. really? you're kidding!" all my life i have had an extremely rich dream life. every night i would go to bed and dream something totally epic. some were good, some bad but all very vivid. even if i was only asleep for 10 minutes i would have a super long and eventful dream. i would always remember these dreams when i woke up and would think about them all day long ( beats workin! ). i know i know get to the weird right? well here it is; i haven't had a dream in over 6 months. now that may not sound very weird to you but for me it's like losing my sense of smell or a foot or my third nipple or something. i've never slept very much as it is, maybe 3 or 4 hours a night but now i'm not even very motivated to do that. without all my crazy dreams, sleep is just boring now. so far i don't think it has affected my mental state very much but i'm kind a fushing lunatic as it is so i'm not sure i'd even notice. i do miss em though...........anyway, welcome to the message board and thanks for the post! i say that like one of the old timers, i mean "prolific members" but in truth i'm pretty much a newcomer myself.
