I figured that it may be nice to have a place to post whatever is on someone's mind....So, here we go...

Just found out that if you have time warner internet and your internet is all screwy then this may be for you....

During the past week, hackers have launched a series of attacks on Time Warner Cable's servers. Time Warner Cable is working with law enforcement agencies to resolve these crimes.

As a result of these attacks, you may have experienced a temporary "outage" when attempting to surf the Web, including an intermittent "page cannot be displayed" error message. The outages did not result in services being 100% unavailable; and were limited to sporadic timeouts which appeared to be random events. Some users may have experienced a total disconnect. These types of attacks are not uncommon, especially for a network as large as ours. We suspect that the attackers are using "zombie computers," or hijacking unsuspecting subscribers' machines to perpetrate the attack without its owner's knowledge.

All of us at Time Warner Cable take these attacks extremely seriously. As previously mentioned, we are working with the appropriate law enforcement agencies that specialize in investigating these types of crimes. We will pursue prosecution of all perpetrators to the fullest extent of the law. We apologize for the inconvenience that these attacks may have caused and encourage you to report any suspicious activity. Instructions for reporting security abuse are located at http://help.rr.com.

I'm sitting here thinking that it would be nice if the house warmed up faster so I could enjoy a shower and then head out to the tattoo parlour with clean skin. I'm wondering how much it will hurt to get the tattoo on the inside of my wrist, but at the same time I don't care. I want that tattoo.

I'm wondering if I can get that story I'm working on done over the weekend (and what I'll do with it when it's done).

@ LadyPain re tatoos: I've been told that though various body parts are more painful than others, there is a big variance of experienced pain from person to person.

Now that I read about tattoos I think that I would love to make one, it's been a long time since that was my business. I also think that it's so annoying and difficult to write with one hand. I'm also thinking about all those tasks waiting there.

I hope We don't get any more Nor'easter's around here this year. My friend's car-port
just collapsed. I shoveled My porch roof earlier, already lost half of a deck to snow.
I wish my husband had been on the same page with Me and not built these things so
big..or plant trees as close to the road as he did. ( listen to the Irish ) buuuttt all I
can do about it now is shovel and prune. I don't act bratty about it because He does
alot of thankless yet necessary chores here and for other's. I better go call my propane
company to ask when the next refill comes, don't want to start baking Jessi's birthday cake
and run out of propane halfway through ! A 5' tall tank and I cant even see it under the snow.

Got awakened by the Miserecordia Hospital...surgery is a go ahead and all the paperwork done. Terrified but nothing can be worse than the uncertainty I have lived with. Alot of hurry up and wait.

Looked outside...think the windchill is about -40C. I am still gonna go walking. I want to hear the snow crunching under my boots. :biggrin2:

Having family over later this evening. I am making deep fried battered cod...chips and coleslaw for the evening meal. I like times like this. :smile2:

I'm kinda behind on this thread, but

Did you get the tattoo LadyPain?

I have both my wrists tattooed. They hurt worse than any of my others (back, leg, stomach, arms, thigh, foot, finger, ankle), but they're also my favorite.

Yes, I got the tattoo on 28 Feb, on the inside of my left wrist. I am hoping to get one on the inside of my right wrist on 30 April (my birthday) as a present to myself. Oh the pain.... but I wanted more as soon as it stopped. I knew I would be planning to go back again before I had even pulled out the credit card for the first one.

Ha! Thats pretty cool. Here is a dancemove of mine you can copy (or anyone can if they want to look like a fool) I call it the coconut:

1. Hold one fist in front of you
2. take your other fist and bop the first fist down
3. let the arm of the bopped fist make a big circle and the CONK youself on the head, like if a coconut fell on your head!
4. Then act like your legs are all wobbly and wiggle down
5. repeat until someone notices and rolls their eyes at you, or until the whole dancefloor is dropping from the coconut craze!

Has your wife ever told you that there are several meanings for "PMS"? Let her know someday they will find a cure, by then it will be too late for us, that time will have passed. Sucks to be us. I bet you ask yourself that question too on occasion now don't you demorgan? I know that my husband does for at least four days out of each month. :biggrin2:

How did it go? What is the tatoo?

I HAVE THREE TATS, AND i wish I had put sunscreen on them....because now, they're faded, just like the tatoo artist said they would be if I DIDMT use the sunscreen...sigh. If yours are still BRIGHT, use sunscreen to keep 'em that way!

I just watched a video on YouTube that featured the late 70's/early 80's TV program called "Pinwheel". Anyone remember that one? I liked the segment on it that had the bunny with the checkered ears popping out of a toybox, looking around from the roof with a telescope, and then flying around with said checkered ears acting as a propeller. I used to watch that crap for hours! Is it any wonder I'm touched in the head?
