What are your ringtones?

I don't use a lot of different ringtones for my cell, but I do have a few. What are yours, and why? Here are mine.

Main - For my main one, I use the little pseudo-Oriental tone that came with the phone. It's kind of funny while still being a fairly standard ring.

Spongebob theme - When my mother-in-law calls, I hear the Spongebob Squarepants theme song. She loves Spongebob, and the ringtone just reminds me of everything I love about her. (Thank heaven for good in-laws.)

Low - When my husband's sister or her kids call me, it's Flo Rida's Low. I had all three kids in the car last summer, and when that song came on the radio, we all sang it at the top of our lungs. It's a small memory, but a good one.

You Are the Sunshine of My Life - This is what I hear when my husband calls. Pretty self-explanatory, innit?

Discovery commercial - I use the Discovery channel "I Love the World" jingle for my texts just because I love it. It's such a warm fuzzy. "I love tornadoes. I love arachnids. I love hot magma. I love the giant squids."

Since I really can't ever take the cell off of silent mode, there hasn't been much reason to change it.

I think my favorite (my cell phone only rings once a week or so, when I happen to have it on and other people happen to be very lucky when it comes to windows) cell phone ringtone of all time, would be this one my buddy has...

It makes the noise of a giger-counter. You know, one of those devices used to detect radiation? And when the level of it's detection gets louder, it makes those kind of twitchy static noises.

Other than that, I've always liked those ringtones that sound like a phone ringing.

I haven't changed things around on my mobile for a long time. For calls I just have the sound of an old fashioned phone ringing. For my two best friends, who also live together, I have the Simpsons theme and a picture of their rabbit eating greens. :wink2:

Will definitely have a think about a distinct ringtone for my boss though, as he has this nasty habit of calling me on the weekend with more work for the week to come. :mad2:

I got a new phone yesterday. I am not a phone guy. I cannot talk on the phone. The longest call I will have ever possibly had is 20 minutes. Having said that, my new phone is the navigator phone they use on the TV show with Ewan McGregor called Long Way Down - has built in GPS and things.

Anyway, I got tired of hearing everyone's MP3 ringtones through those terrible cell speakers, so I'm just going to stick with a standard ring. A feature I found on my phone last night is that it has a 3D sound feature and I can add different reverbs to the ringtone. I thought that was awesome.

I've just got George Thorogood's "Bad to the Bone" on mine. I did get in trouble for it once, tho. Christmas Eve Mass last year - my phone was new; I didn't know how to shut it off but THOUGHT I put it on vibrate only. Nope - right at the end of the sermon, my phone rings - loudly playing George's growly "Bad to the Bone." My family was mortified - my nephew actually scooted away from me on the bench seat - as I'm wildly trying to smother my purse by piling coats over it. Just when I thought the problem was solved, it rang again! That time, I just ignored it, as there was so much rustling from everyone standing up that I'm pretty sure no one noticed that time. I did learn how to shut it off after that night, tho!:oops:
