I was wondering if anyone here has had prophetic dreams. A couple of nights ago I had a dream, and I think that it was prophetic, but I just can't remember it.

I would love to hear stories :)

Once I dreamt that I was in a house with circle windows and my best friend`s brother told me "I love circle windows, all windows should be like that" and the next day I was walking with a friend and we saw a house with circle windows and she said "I love circle windows", it was weird... I also have dreamt of people that I don`t see very often and that day I happened to meet them

I've dreamed solutions to problems, I've dreamed of the past and I've dreamed of the future. Sometimes I think dreams just hook us up into the great subconscious in a more direct manner.

I'm somewhat of a dreamer and had one in particular that came to pass. I believe that spiritual dreams are very real and you will know when you have had one.

When I was a little girl I had a very frightening dream. I dreamed I was in a dense forest, but it wasn't a piney forest like we have here - it was tropical. A small plane was on the floor of the forest, obviously crashed, and a young woman with long, blonde hair crawled out. She'd come out of the pilot's door, and I remember thinking "She must be the pilot, and it looks like she's alone." She was bleeding from the nose and mouth, and collapsed a couple of feet from the plane. I knew she was dead.

I woke up scared and crying. My mother came to comfort me, and I told her about the dream. A couple of days later she showed me the newspaper. A woman was missing, and hadn't been seen since she'd taken off in her plane days earlier. The photo next to the article showed a young woman with long, straight, blonde hair.

I don't remember hearing anything else about it. I don't believe she was ever found, because my mom would have told me.

I am glad that my dreams are not prophetic. I have wild weird dreams that would stump even SK himself. The weird thing about my dreams is that I almost always remember them. I have dark dreams that are terrifying, and frustrating dreams that make me glad to wake up. But as close to a prophetic dream that I ever have is dreaming about something that I know is going to happen already and that I am looking forward to. For example, last night I dreamed about being able to pick up my dog from the boarder today and how happy I was to bring him home. Well this is what IS going to happen today,:smile2: so that is about as close as I can get. :bat:

Sometimes, I do have prophetic dreams. Mostly about someone I love needing help. I dreamed all three of my brother's accidents (including the one that killed him). I also dreamed that my cousin (more like a sister) was in a shower bleeding and crying---later found out that her boyfriend was beating her up, and the only way she got away was to lock herself in the bathroom and climb out the window. I've had some that were even scarier. It bothers me any time I dream about someone I'm close to.

I once had a dream about my first love, Angelina Jolie, the last Playboy Playmate of the year, and a case of whip cream… wait, I guess that more of a wet dream.

SusanNorton also had another dream that related to me that was so shocking in its context. I still can't get over this connection.

Lol @ JR...I dreamed all three of my brother's accidents (including the one that killed him)

I dreamt that my brother died in a motorcycle accident, and it made no sense to me at the time. Within six months he had a bicycle accident (smacked into an SUV) and broke his back. He survived though, but it always chills me a little bit to think of it...

The night before my grandmother died, I dreamed that my grandfather (her husband) had returned to life. Theirs was a long and loving marriage; I believe he had returned so they would be together in the afterlife.

I have had prophetic dreams may whole life. When I was a little kid, I used to have recurring dreams that planes would crash into two very tall buildings. Sometimes I would draw pictures of my dreams. Doing this would upset my teachers and parents. I stopped talking about my dreams because it made everybody mad at me.

I have had many other prophetic dreams and most of them have come true. Recently I have been having a dream that my home town is hit by an earthquake and everything is destroyed. I have ohter dreams that the town where I live looks like it has been in some sort of disaster or it looks like a war -zone.

I have, in my 34 years, had prophetic dreams many times. The biggest problem with them is there is usually no way to tell it's prophetic until it's too late. Sometimes I have known that I dreamed something while it was happening and acted according to the dream. Once I even took a surprise test in high school that I had not studied at all for according to the answers of a dream I had several days before. I answered every question according to the dream and scored a perfect grade, even got the bonus question. So it does happen, just not the way many think it does.

None of my dreams are real, or could be real (in this world, anyway). They tend to have a Dali-esque quality.

Yes All too often. I'm about two years behind them at the minute.

I dreamed that it was a beautiful day, just gorgeous, but there was something wrong. In my dream there was a tree, and the leaves were reflecting the sunlight and waving in a breeze so it looked like a beautiful billowing green cloud. Then a silver ribbon or thread on a needle went through the tree, through the leaves and through the sunlight and I thought "its evil, they're sewing it into the day!". That thread was corrupting everything, the day, the tree, even the sunlight became sinister when that needle and thread showed up. I had this dream on 9/10 2001.

This is a true account, and believe me, I don't have any special talents, not unless you count horn playing and cake baking. But this dream did happen.

I had a prophetic dream about standing on the porch of a black mans house and seeing the Mountains behind him. Suddenly there was an explosion in the mountains and a destroyed train came out of them, it went through the black mans house, woman and childrens bodies everywhere. I was stationed in Japan at the time so news was 24 hours delayed and we did not have cable yet. The next day when I got to work front page on the news paper was a train exploding as it was coming out of the mountains in Egypt, it had mostly Women and children. That scared the bejesus out of me.

I don't know yet if it's prophetic, maybe someone can tell me what it means. I dreamt I was in the driveway of a house - looked a little large for a driveway, but not large enough to be a parking lot. There were vultures everywhere, on the cars, in the trees and almost as thick as clouds in the air. Don't know how I got there, just looked at the vultures and said to myself "wonder what's up with all the vultures." Didn't feel any fear of the vultures (or even of being pooped on). I started walking toward the house and there was a white light high up in the sky. It seemed orb like until it got closer. It was a creature, and it didn't just glow, it was as if it was illuminated from the inside. I thought, it sort of looks like a unicorn, but its not, then I though it was a pegasus, but it had at least 4 wings, white with gold, which I thought was really weird. It landed on the roof of the house and the body changed along with the face, it went to a lion, a camel, a goat, and some others that I couldn't discern because I couldn't focus on the face. It was looking directly at me, yet I could not focus on the face, it was ever changing. I went inside the house. My sister and husband were on the sofa and I told them they had to come out and see what is on the roof, and asked "what's up with the vultures?" Anyway, as my hand reached for the knob to lead them out the door, I woke up.

My sister says she doesn't know about the vultures, but the lighted creature is the sign of an archangel.
Any help?

Oh and I should tell you that I have had 2 vulture sightings like in my dream since I had it a couple of weeks ago!

I tend to be very territorial so often 2-3 days or weeks before a really traumatic events I will have a dream.

I am very sensitive too, if I visit a place before a tradgety happens I say stuff. Like when I went to Housing court over my rent once, and warned security about guns. 2 weeks later a woman shot her sister in the same housing court I was at. (first murder ever in that court house)

The only way to decribe it is the one line in 'Can't Keep it in',
'Oh, I can't keep it in
I can't keep it in, I've gotta let it out
I've gotta show the world, world's got to know' Cat Stevens

I will be somewhere and just blurt it out if a prophecy comes to me no matter how out of the blue it is. Probably the reason most people dont listen to me.

i've had dreams come true but they are mostly silly things. it was mostly of homework from either the next day or a few months after the dream.
this dream i had last year was weird and i don't remember how it went but i'll put all i remember. i was in walmart and in one of the buggies was an evil talking baby. and in the basket part was bombs and grenades.
the next day i went to one of those dream websites and found out that seeing a baby means birth of something so in short the birth of evil.

I've always wanted to eat in my dreams ! Sometimes I'll be on a long journey, just saved someone ( of course ) and then I'll find this place that has the best food. As soon as it gets close to my mouth, I'll wake up. DAMN !

I also posted this one on another thread, and realized it should be posted here also.
I used to have the same dream, in a black ford car, on the passenger side, the driver would be different, sometime mom, dad, or my sister. We would go off the side of the road at the entry to a little bridge, go down the embankment and land in the water with the waterlilies. As we were sinking the driver would just keep driving....
That was all my life until I turned 35. The twist is I was named after a young lady in my neighborhood and church. She went missing just a couple months after I was born. It was always thought she had runaway with her boss who came to get her and take her to work the last time either of them was seen. The family had a private eye for years looking for her. I told her sister about my dream one day when we were discussing recurrent nightmares.
The spring after my 35th birthday, they began fully draining a local river due to high algae population that was killing the fish. When they drained it they found a black ford engulfed deep in the mud just under the side of one of the highway bridges. It contained my namesake and her boss. My namesake was on the driver's side.
When my sister called to tell me, she started by asking me when was the last time I had the dream. I told her about a week before my 35th birthday. Then she told me what had happened. When I attended the memorial service, her mother and sister both grabbed me and told me, if we only knew years ago when you had those dreams, we could have laid her to rest long ago.

I have had experiences like that, talk to someone and know what they are going to say before they say it or see something that you know you have seen before. Can't say i have dreamt it but it creepy when it happens. :eek2:
