Thanks. Then I guess my suggestion would be to give us the option to opt out of this notification. I have mainly used that notification system to let me know about private messages and the like, so having the "thanks" in there makes me think I have a message until I click on it. Just an idea.

I've already approached Jordan about disabling the notifications for the thanks/welcome key and he is looking into it. I'm sure once he figures it out he will let us all know. There was a feature in general settings that gave the option of disabling the notifications yet it didn't seem to be activating correctly when I tried it. With any new system/feature there's going to be minor kinks that need ironing out, yet with a little time I've no doubt he will sort it so everything continues to run smoothly.
Patience is a virtue and all that jazz.

I would suggest that we/You guys/ re-instate the 'Signatures' option . Only with really, really strict Rules. Like ::: Text only and less then 100 characters.
No pictures and few words. Less then one line of text...I think might be OK. yes ? No ??

Still no. I have to read each of those and while I know there are some who already add it on their own, my concern is that if it was a permitted feature that didn't take any extra effort on the part of those using a signature, there would be a lot more who might avail themselves of it which would add more time to my day to get to the posting in a timely fashion and take away from the time that I need to be doing other things. And honestly? After a while how many of you out there are really reading the signature line?

The times they are a-changin’.

Bookstore are closing. And with the complexities of modern life, it is getting tougher and tougher to find the time to sit down and read a good book. But I do have an iphone and would like to get audiobook downloads of some SK books that I haven’t read yet so I could listen to them while driving (even though I own all of them in hardcover). Just wish the SK merchandise store would provide these for sale, with instructions on how to do it for us smartphone challenged folks. I would trust the SK site to get these and not have to worry about memberships, security, be inundated with email offers, or anything else aggravating… just get the damn audio book!
