I wanted to mention that I set up a social group to help members out with the new version. It is open for anyone to join.

Perhaps more of a question. Is there a feature which allows the user to keep track of his/her posts? I have a difficult time figuring out where I posted last and if there was any response. Granted, I'm an old guy and talking through a computer is a relatively new adventure.

Should be a link in the darker toolbar at the top, mid screen, far right of tool bar that says "my posts". You should be able to find whatever you need there.

At the top of the page on the black bar (under the bird) you can click on "My Posts". That will take you to a page with all your recent posts and the subjects. If you want to view one of your posts, just click on it and I believe it will take you there. To return to where you were before, click the back button (blue arrow, upper left of screen) until you get to where you started. It can be confusing until you figure out how it works. Most of the things I found were accidents, or someone helped me out.

Maybe you should start a social group for that very thing.
A place where yourself and other members can post their stories and get feedback 24 hours a day, without the need for moderation.

I know this may have been asked before, but I think that it would be really nice for users to be able to upload their own avatar?

Not going to happen. We just don't have time to look over every potential avatar.
