11/22/63 did it to me, especially toward the end
So far, only DT VII and Hearts in Atlantis have brought on tears...but 11/22/63, Cujo, and IT all came dangerously close...
I've not cried on any, but I would say that the closest I've come was with Insomnia and Bag of Bones.
Some of the stuff in "Dreamcatcher" made me cry, specifically how they all cared so much for Duddits. And "The Body" made weep...it was so sad, and yet happy in a way...Actually all of Different Seasons made me cry. Beautiful collection. And I'm about halfway through "The Green Mile" but I can tell already that sometime soon I will cry...
Lisey's Story, The Body and 11/22/63. Haven't read some of the others frequently mentioned here, like IT and The Green Mile.
Oh, I can't even count. He has done that to me so many times. Examples: when in Bag of Bones, when (why? WHY???) in DT, when in The Stand, various moments in The Green Mile, etc.
The green mile, very sensitive. The Stand, when he describes death of 5 years old child,Salem's Lot death of baby and the moment when mother find that.
Sorry, Right Number. (SS)
Just finished my second reading of IT. I closed the book with tears in my eyes...such a beautiful story of growing up, friendship, love...
