Thank you so much for the welcome! I have been a Stephen King fan for several years, but I haven't discovered this MB until now. I'm so excited to have people to discuss SK's books/works. I'm happy to be here!

Well, first I was afraid to go to the "Newbie"-Thread, but after reading all the warm welcomes...
I have to admit that I was always looking for other SK readers, since I do not know anyone who's as crazy about his work as me... Some might know him (and are full of prejudice), but won't try, even if I'm recommending lots of books to them, which won't fit in their "SK is brutal and disgusting"-scheme. But by now, I've had more success converting my friends to my favourite band than to one of my favourite authors. Such a pity, I even sometimes play up with my SK addiction...

Well, again, I am glad having found such a place to exchange thoughts. And, at last, good to see that I'm not alone

Sorry I haven't posted in this thread for a while, but the children are on summer vacation and the line forms to the left for computer time. We actually have to sign in on a log in order to prevent squabbles between the boys over who has had their fair share of time.

Sorry about Germany's loss in the Euro-Cup Annie. Your team put up a good fight.
