I must say, that I just jumped in and started posting instead of reading. A-hem... sorry. I didn't see this newbie tab. I have indeed felt welcomed! I've been befriended, and i really enjoy this forum. I am very impressed at how well policed it is. I've been on a lot of forums, and many of them are horribly spammed and neglected. I'm glad to see that the "riff-raff" is kept at bay. I am an avid reader, but a terrible writer. My English professor nicknamed me "Superfluous Comma", so beware of my bad grammar and run-on sentences! Thanks for the warm welcomes

I am new to this site, but not to the genious that is King. I have been a Stephen King fan since I was 13 years old. I am now 16, I lost my Mom when I was 13 years old, she is the inspiration for my writing. I will hopefully be posting some of my work on here, and I will ask for your opininons on it. Please be honest.

Now I get it. I just registered and was immediately sent a "welcome" post by one of the senior members. Seeing that he was a "senior" member, I assumed that was why he welcomed me. (Like, maybe it was his responsibility or something!)

The "old hands" here are good people-flat out...that's what makes this MB so unique, it becomes a VERY large extended family for many of us-and if one of us is unable to help, we are under the all seeing eye of Ms. Mod(if she can't do it-nobody can-YAY!)...everyone enjoy, and please sample the lovely dip and the shrimp rolls...
