Woah, your husband (you) is extremely thoughtful, that is a great idea for a gift! I may be stealing that. Not the actual bracelet, just the idea...
Anyhoo, the other day I picked up three SK hardcover books in a charity shop. I found copies of Hearts in Atlantis, and The Dark Half, with different covers from what I own so I couldn't resist those. The best book was a first edition copy of Song of Susannah with the illustrations for £2.50 and it's in perfect condition. It doesn't even look like it's been read. I was ecstatic to find it contains a double paged illustration of my favourite DT picture that always reminds me of JD.![]()
The Wind Through the Keyhole, which I have read in its entirety, and I started reading yesterday afternoon.
Just got back from Hastings where I picked up a used BluRay copy of Carrie- it's the very first BluRay disc I've purchased since taking the plunge a month or so ago and buying a BluRay player- it's fitting that the first one should be King related, eh?![]()
I like your avatar. So - how do I add one? Sorry for being so thick but I looked at updating my profile and still do not see anything like "change avatar" or whatever in there.
Just bought The Talisman! Gonna read it after wizard and glass.
Talisman paperback. Sure I've read it before, but only once, and it was a library book, so many years ago...
I purchased several Red Sox things to decorate my bathroom downstairs and of course added king things with the Red Sox.
Got the new issue of Esquire, with the King/Hill story. Good story, so far; looking forward to part two in a couple of months.
Got the new Esquire story (but I ain't gonna read it till I have the last part in me hands), and while on my trip to Seattle I scored two of the large paperback editions of The Bachman Books and a large paperback copy of Four Past Midnight. While on the long drive over I listened to Bag Of Bones on cd (got thru the 1st five discs), I just love to listen to King talk!!!!
