It's actually Avril as in the French spelling of April. Either way I think she sucks (well her music, anyway). She can sing but I dislike her style and those heavily made up eyes don't do a lot for her. This is another weird thread which seems to have no rhyme or reason to it... By the way, how was Christmas out in Edmonton? I just realized I forgot to call my son in Edmonton! OMG - he'll think his mother does not love him anymore!

I was thinking the same thing... the only song I know by her is Complicated and I HATE that one.

Every time I see her all I can think of is when she said, during an interview, of the time she met Christina Aguilera. She said she walked up to Xtina, put her hand out to shake hands and said 'Hi! I'm Avril! We kinda do the same thing.' To which Xtina looked at her, giggled and walked away.

Sad, kinda rude, but extremely funny!
