Having the opportunity to see Mr. King in Boulder was absolutely amazing! We were not allowed to take pictures but I took a couple quick ones that turned out to be of very bad quality (the lighting was horrible therefore making the task that much more impossible). However, Stephen is a very laid back guy, keeping his audience laughing persistently with his good sense of humor. A very memorable moment for me was when he was asked what he thought about his books that were made into movies, he stated that Children of the Corn had way too many different versions and instead suggested, "a great film would be Children of the Corn meets Leprechaun." Now that would be something to give me some pretty terrible nightmares. Another thing I enjoyed to hear him say was, "the advantage of a book over a kindle is if you drop that motherf***er into the toilet you can just fish it out and let it dry." Last but not least, it was great to hear King sound as insane as his characters by saying to the audience, "We're all bucko on this bus!" I can honestly say I agree, "Human nature, baby. Grab it and Growl." pg.178, "The Shining".
