I have joined the forum since I do not know where else to bemoan my fate.
I have been a huge fan since discovering his mr King's books farely recently. I have bought several books in various formats. Imagine how upset I was when trying to get hold of the "Under the dome" audio book from Audible, only to be advised that because I am from South Africa, I am not allowed access to the book.
I contacted Audible and their response was: While we strive to make as many audiobooks as possible available to customers in every country, we must abide by the restrictions set by the publisher. Often, the publisher will secure "world" rights, but at times their distribution rights are more restricted.
Since I can not contact the publisher, I was hoping someone could explain why I am good enough to spend money on some excelent books, but not good enough for others. Please would someone put me on the right track.
