I thought a novel regarding "satan worshippers" would be interesting. Not much thought is given to them as they fly under the radar. They attain their victims sporatically and probably stay in their own clique to avoid attention especially from the law. The powers of the dark side are disregarded in this current day even by the church. Setting in a quiet valley away from large groups of people. A girl and her boyfriend, driving on their fishing vacation, gets run down by two military looking guys with scary masks on. The only thing they remember years later, is a slight feeling of inner dread in regards to that trip and a small cut on the left wrist that was healing on the girl. Things start going drastically bad for the couple and they separate. The girls family is very faithful but not over powering in their faith and the girl starts losing faith in God. She becomes suicidal. Then one night God appears to her in a dream and says He is going to help her as a promise to her now deceased mother. He gives the girl a few good prayers to counter the witch craft however she requires a devout priest to say certain "ex- spellsions." (actually blessings) for God to help her through it or she will die and her children will go wayward and have a horribly upsetting life and also lose their souls. She has to be careful because she does not want to end up in the psychiatric hospital again. God helps her but because she has slipped so far away from Him, she does not always understand what He wants her to do but she knows basically that she ha to get help from a priest. The church she ends up going to has been graffitied by satan worshippers in invisible ink so everyone is completely unaware of the spells cast onto that church. The priest, though very devout, is also affected by the spells. It takes her a lot of persistence to get him to pray for her what he needs to pray to cast off her demons.
