Just finished Joyland a day ago,and I loved it..being of a certain age,the references to how things were, both in the physical plant of automation and the way we were,as people..how cool was that? Who sits down and plays scrabble with people they hardly know today?Of course,SK,hooks us with his thoughts about love, loss, and friendship, and that is one of the reasons I continue to come back, every time..he has the ability to move one out of the current, into the past, and revive memories, thoughts and feelings..of people we know,we love,we miss, and thankfully those who are still with us..
God Bless him for that..Thank you Stephen, should you chance to read this, but if not,y'know,I think it is okay..because it is clear, you already understand..and maybe your writing is your gift to us..I was thinking, maybe the wind through the keyhole, and Joyland, are special gifts to your constant readers..could be wrong, but I like the idea.. spidey would say, love and green lights, and there is that, but also,a pointy eared Vulcan had good vibes as well..live long and prosper,my friend..

I just finished this tonight, I tried to read it slow to make it last. The book is truly wonderful, one of the best King books in a while. And as a graphic designer, I really appreciate the look of the cover to go along with the story!
