Yes. I do think I'd do well to spend more time at the StephenKing.com part of the site, though, but I know you weren't trying to hurt my feelings, and my feelings weren't hurt, and I know you weren't saying I should spend more time there or any such thing. You were tickling me. Maybe because you know I'm like Elmo. Dammit.
...Oh for God's sake Frank!...here's the keys to my room...go get it out of your system!...
Craig Ferguson gave Joyland a nice shout-out during his opening monologue last night. There's a new book out today...what's a book? It's a blog printed out all over in bits of paper. Imagine loads of text messages all smooshed together. It's by an up-and-coming author named Stephen King. It's only coming out in books made of paper. "Take that, trees, you leafy wooden b*st*rds."
He showed the book's cover and then his own version of it. Warning -- once you see this, you will never be able to unsee it!
a haunted, drafty balcony overseeing my kingdom...waiting for my King...
Re: SK on the Today Show
I saw them both on Charlie Rose and David Letterman, both very great interviews! They are funny guys! I've read in different interviews during my internet searches that Mr. King does not like the PR part when he has new projects coming out. But it's such a thrill for his fans, us Constant Readers, to see him and hear him and I'm very thankful he makes that extra effort for us. Will you please tell him thank you, Ms. Mod, and that he really does look great! and thank you, Ms. Mod.
Stephen did get a really big laugh at one point..those double interviews can be awkward as it's hard for both to be engaging and funny at the same time..would like to see him one on one with Letterman,at some point down the road..like JKM too tho, what's with his kid beating the hell out of him?
