I just finished my first Stephen King book yesterday night (Under The Dome).
What an incredibly sensational piece of work that was! Before this, I never thought it would be possible for a 1,000+ page book to be that interesting all the way through. But the only other book I've read of similar length would be the bible, and fortunately Under The Dome turned out to be a lot better.
Normally I tend to read more history, psychology, and science type books but I figured I would diversify and try something new. I was at the Joseph-Beth bookstore in Cincinnati two weeks ago and was glancing over the Stephen King book display and I ended up picking out the fattest book with the coolest-looking cover design and that was that. Two weeks later I am here at this forum, now an official fan!
So a few questions to all King fans...
I'd like to read more of King's books. Where should I start? Should I do it chronologically? Are there any books I should avoid? Are there any books that are absolutely mandatory? Thanks for any responses.
