I have listened to parts of his audiobooks and it just feels right to have him read the book for us! Love the bag of bones one alot.
...oh no, he's NOT doin' the thing with the feather boa and a jar of Nutella again...is he????just wait until you see what he's doing next week! Oh, my!!
That's it? What happened to Ugly?
But she was saying Barkell, the other Katie, you follow me?
Buyer beware is all. Good. I've listened to him On Writing...and seems like I noticed it there, too...and it is present in that thing at the top of the list in news, I forget the exact title, interview...some woman...King...he talks about a variety of things. But the way he pronounces some "el" words and again an exact word eludes me...maybe little...others. You can listen yourself if you haven't already. King has this clicking sound...or a glicking sound...when he pronounces el-words. But hey, don't take my word for it...my hearing ain't the best. The wife this once she's telling me about Katie, a friend of hers...thing is she has two Katie friends...and she said the last name...of one...but I thought she was talking about another, the Katie who lives on a farm and I thought she said Katie bought a cow. Only natural, right, living on a farm...you buy a cow. Couple chickens. Maybe a sheep.
Thanks for the reply. Bag of Bones is pretty awesome on audio. Although, the Cujo audio was amazing and seemed scarier since the last time I read it as a kid. (King didn't read it, but it was still good!) When I return to his books as an adult, I get a whole different perspective. I just finished reading From Buick 8 ( book, not audio) that was really good too. I hope he is so busy because he will soon be doing some book signings.....????? If not, if there any chance he will ever come to Ohio in my lifetime? ha-ha!
That's ok. He has such a huge fan base, anything with him actually attending would be a zoo. I went to Lowell's event in December. It was like attending a rock concert. Pretty crazy and neat. If he continues to do conversation events, I might catch the next one that has a reception. Couldn't do the one in Hartford, CT in July. I am so glad to see "Afterlife" will be published somewhere. I need to check out that magazine. I never heard of Tin House until I found out his story was being published in it. Thanks again for a quick reply! Have a nice weekend!
Thanks! Will do!
