I like vBulletin myself.... just throwing my hat in the ring in favor of it....
If it worked properly, I'd be more than happy to keep it. Unfortunately, 4.x isn't compatible with up-to-date (and secure) versions of PHP, and no one from their support staff has responded to questions regarding when or if they'll fix the compatibility issues. That's the source of all of our woes with the board. I could probably analyze and repair their code myself, but it would be a large time investment (and I don't work for Internet Brands).
There are some other options out there, and everything had its pros and cons. I'll be testing a lot of things, and we'll just have to see what the future holds.
