    Default A fallen soldier

For anyone here who doesn't know who As I Lay Dying is, they are a Christian death metal band with A LOT of talent and just amazing songs like nothing left, upside down kingdom, and forever. The singer has written spine chilling lyrics and is an excellent screaming vocalist....but I am afraid I have some news to tell you all. Today authorities had found out that he had set up a "hit" on his ex wife. They are not sure if this is all true yet or not but at the moment he is in pretty deep stuff. Authorities believe he set this up through to a contracted killer (hit man) and ordered it on his behalf of his anger towards her. Tim Lambesis is one of my all time favorite singers and if this is true, It's gonna take some time but I will think about just disbanding him completely from myself. I've been listening to this band for a long time and It's hard to believe he would do such a thing. I know we all have are faults and drawbacks but good god.

this singer has given you some interesting times...you've enjoyed his work...understood and commiserated from afar his pain...

    ...felt a kinship of sorts...

...and yet...when he faces troubles...you would turn your back on him ?

    wwjd....

Drama is actually when Jennifer Aniston complains over a bad haircut. THAT is drama.

I think if he IS convicted and it's true, then I will forgive him. We are taught to forgive each other and look past each other's faults. Look at the manson murders. Each of his followers got saved while in prison. They repented against their sins. They became children of god once again just as we all do when we ask for forgiveness through the precious blood of Jesus Christ that was shed for the world. I believe the world will never forgive him if he is found guilty but God will and always will if he asks for forgiveness.

i can't equate what he's accused of quite on the same level as manson and his family: nonetheless, once one seeks forgiveness, it does become a bit of a moral dilemma on what to do...in the case of actual murderers, that forgivenes should probably be given, but that does not mean one should be let go from the confines of a prison or a lessening of a civilly brought sentence...

but what i really meant to get at, and probably did so ineloquently, was that i would think you, of all people (having been through the 'trials' you've had of late), might be of a more gentle consideration...a more open heart and mind...even if he were guilty, as isn't that a better path to a more centered spiritual enlightenment

i would hope that you might have a bit more insight into the darkness a tortured soul might find itself lost within...a soul needing healing, nourishment and fellowship...and maybe even forgiveness...
