Problem with Logging In

Yesterday the board was "updated," which apparently means "broken" in vBulletin parlance. I don't know why this has broken yet since their own support forums are apparently broken. Hopefully, this will be resolved soon.

For the time being, here are the steps to try:

Clear your cookies from stephenking.com
Dump your cache
Restart your browser
Login with the "Remember Me" checkbox checked from any page other than the main forum page

I knew to do all of the above and for me it's still happening. I just go to Ms Mod's profile and then log in . . .it takes then.

Hopefully the log in problems are now resolved.

Then try logging in normally.

I didn't have to sign in this morning -- without doing any clearing or dumping -- so the problem seems to be rectified. For me at least.

Aside from my very first log-in after the board update, I haven't had any of the issues that other people were experiencing. (& I have no idea why?

I have found that I'm logged in even when it looks like I'm not. I come to the log in page and put in my user name and password and hit enter. Then I get the same page again, looking like I haven't logged in. But, if I just click one of the links like "new posts," I find out that I am logged in. For me, it's not a log in problem, just the log is page behaving funkily. (new word)

I have cleared the cookies, dumped the cache, and restarted the browser.....
This is the message I'm still getting when I try to log in. However, if I click New Posts, or one of the other links, I'm logged in
