Also it's funny how the comments can be so overwhelmingly right wing propaganda posts. I guess that tells you who is primarily using Yahoo now and why it's about to fall into obscurity and financial ruin.

Always a difference in opinions. But the Kings certainly have a choice in where to put their money. The comments always seem to be the part ,i just glance at and move on.
Good for you Stephen! I'm not particularly swayed by U.S politics, but when I hear that you're giving away your hard earned because you have a desire to help reduce gun violence in your country, then I applaud you. Your choice of charity is none of my (or anyone else's) business. You care... and I respect that so very much. (Thank you)

Where in the world did you get that I attribute it to lax gun laws? You do have one hell of a vivid imagination. I merely noted that Maine was one of the safest places in the country in spike of lax gun laws. And while I don’t agree with your assertion, I do acknowledge that the gun law legislation proposed in Maine is sorta akin to the Swine Flu Vaccine of the mid 70’s... A cure for no know disease.
SIGH... Am I being Punk'd again?
Zel, did you even read that before you posted? You bark at me "where in the hell... blah blah" then repeat exactly what I said!?!? Seriously, WTF is wrong with your logic when it comes to politics? You actually expect anyone to believe, while still maintaining a single shred of intellectual honesty, that you drop your little opinion bombs about this stuff and ISN'T what you think? You were just "letting us know", but you don't believe that? Please.
While I do have a great imagination (and an unusually good grasp on grammar and sentence structure), which is why I write both fiction and professionally for a living in the tech and presentation sphere, what you said is clear and my response was in no way an imaginative extrapolation of your words to some purpose you didn't intend. This is what political extremists (left or right) do; they say dumb or inciting crap and send it to the realm of being about individual comments so they can then blather on about how they are being personally attacked and avoid any logical deconstruction of their seriously flawed argument. This is because what they said is so off the wall and devoid of sense that anyone with respect for intelligent debate simply can't let that tripe echo about the reality chamber and will point out how silly their comments are. Then you have your fuel for your fire, which is probably what you want in the first place. After all, every conspiracy needs innocent victims doesn't it?
RECAP from your last post:
FROM YOUR WORDS IS WHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!Where in the world did you get that I attribute it to lax gun laws? You do have one hell of a vivid imagination. I merely noted that Maine was one of the safest places in the country in spi[t]e of lax gun laws.
And in your original post, you made absolutely no mention that it was "IN SPITE OF", which to english speaking people infers that you are trying to say that you thought lax laws would mean more violence. That isn't what you said and I am 100% confident from your many, many posts specifically on the tighter/looser gun laws subject, that you DO NOT believe this to be true.
Here is EXACTLY what you said originally. Please note the lack of the term "in spite of" or any phrase form that would imply the same angle, but rather a citation of stats to further support your oft stated belief that stricter gun laws would not work in any way...
Also note that your follow up to my pointing out the obvious flaw in your logic and addition of a completely unrelated subject (gang violence/activity), was missing a response to the toppling of your gangland Maine theory. I assume it's due to you simply not having any valid response because you know you're 100% wrong to even add that to the conversation, much less about your assertions of gang activity and it's causes.Wasn’t there a study done that showed Maine to be one of the safest places in the country - with some of the most relaxed gun laws (gun crime by rates by population are tied for 5th lowest in America .8 per 100,000), and almost no gang activity?
So if you aren't trying to say, as you have over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again in EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE GUN THREADS, that more lax gun laws = less gun violence, then what exactly IS your theory as to WHY Maine is so safe?
