My message from three hours previous was not posted although the MB is momentarily posting messages within minutes so I will presume mine was ignored, deemed inappropriate, or whatever. Perhaps my messages need Mr King's personal approval and the reason they take longer to appear than other member's messages. In any case, first time I have noticed messages not being posted in order, at least so obviously. That is not a judgement call or critique, just a strange fact that peaks the curiosity. That is why I am going to try again. Just in case I end up repeating myself and suddenly both of my messages appear here, you know why.
In any case, marraige or wedlock is a state of mind and spirit and has absolutely nothing to do with paperwork and a scribble aka an authoratative signature from some dude you do not even know. Also, the paper used to make that marraige official was made by murdering a defenseless tree that used to have life and is now dead. The gay community should use these times to show the world that true love is a special bond and commitment that begins and ends with emotions and thoughts between the special matching partners and does not need the permission of some high paid person who could not care less about that love, unless his brother is a divorce lawyer. If I was gay I would embrace the public and media scepticism and use it to show the world that true love needs no dead certificate with a stamp that has no meaning with regards to true love. I would have straight couples begin private ceremonies and say, who cares if divorce lawyers have to find other work.
George C does not believe in the institution of marraige, as an institution, but I bet he does believe in love and spritual and mental devotion to that love regardless of what some piece of paper may or may not spell right.
Different words then my original message but, basically my reply from three or four hours ago.
