I respect what you say Autumn -- and I'm sort of a fence rider on the death penalty. If there is no question at all that someone did what they did that got them the death penalty, then it should be carried out. But, if there is circumstantial evidence, no. Too many mistakes have been made. I'm sure many innocent people have been executed and I don't like that thought at all.
But, as far as it being a deterrent? I don't care if it isn't. At least we got rid of one horrible murderer. One less to worry about getting out, one less to feed and cloth and house and give sex changes to.
