...due to the fact it takes so long to carry it out here in the U.S., an iron-clad case should brook no appeals, and you woul see the deterrent quality-instead of vermin clogging up death Row for 20-30 years...

So what's exactly so wrong with revenge, or a reckoning, or just simple good ol' fashioned payback, I mean gee whiz it's precisely what separates us talkin' monkeys from the rest of the critters and just one of the things that makes us so very special.
My last close to home homicide was a couple of years ago this January, my niece was shot in the stomach and chest with a preplanned killing preloaded rifle by her estranged soon to be ex husband, shot point blank multiple times right in front of, and then died in the arms of her 90 year old mother.
He got a way sweet deal doing 25 to life and is up for parole in thirteen...for premeditated murder.
Now me, I think the death penalty should be abolished, but only because it's so severely sanitized and most assuredly unfair, unequal, and just generally major big time f'd up, but I also believe there are some people that should just be killed.
Though my nephew-in-law, nah, his daughters evidently still want him breathin', I mean that was their Mama, and he is after all, their daddy, but if he ever does get out, and crosses my path, I'll cripple him for the rest of his days, and make no mistake about it, it ain't got nothin' to do about justice, it's about revenge, and I'm a big boy what'll take my legal lumps, well, if it came to that, but I doubt it.
Wanna hear about my friend Nancy that went missing til they found what was left of her bones, was enough to know she was strangled and left in a ditch on the side of the road for the vermin to chew and cart off, show me that suspected serial killin' mf'er and let me show what a reckoning is all about.
Or I could tell ya about Lottie, or Rich, or Black Jack, or Keith, or Kimmy (well she ain't dead, but now days she can't dress or feed herself, havin your head caved in can do that to ya sometimes), and I got some more so whattaya want, more beatin's, stranglin's, or shootin's?
Now am I sayin' revenge is good, not hardly, but I am sayin' it ain't as necessarily bad as it's oft made out to be, I only mean that for at least some of us, shall we say, less turn your cheek types (and your more not so proportional response punishment types), it can most definitely bring some closure.

Nah not really, but I'm not master of the world, or sadly even of my zip code, so I don't get to say how I would state sanction murder.
How we do what we do, and all well too often how we go about gettin' there to do it, it ain't right, it ain't gonna get fixed, at least not anywhere close in my lifetime, and can ya imagine it ever being "privatized", I sure can, at least a loud moon howlin' for it, so I just as soon it be gone, but mostly 'cause as a society we ain't never ever gonna take any responsibility for it, rather we just as soon sweep the whole nasty mess under a rug behind a curtain in a deepest darkest hole and simply forget & never have to think about it, and to me that's not just shameful, it's cowardly.

We all have our own thoughts and ideas as to the death penalty, and I can respect differing viewpoints on it..as for me,a guy that sets a bomb filled with nails and ballbearings down next to a little boy who is killed,a little girl who loses her leg,and a mother who suffers traumatic brain injury..not to mention the rest of the victims of that one bomb..well,to me that is a compelling argument for and the swift execution of the death penalty..Sorry,there are animals who forfeit their card to the human race by their acts, and their evil deeds need to be punished..IMHOP..
