You know, oatmeal gets a bad rap. I love it (as long as it's made with milk). I like to dump whatever fresh fruit is available in it or raisins if nothing fresh is on hand. It's easy and quick to make.
From the article:" We don't sell junk food, Hannah," Thompson said at the meeting, adding that his kids grew up eating McDonald's and also enjoy dining at home.
They ALSO played outside after school, from sunrise to sunset on weekends, and had real, not Genetically modified food to eat at home.
I understand that he added this qualitification but it doesn't make his statement less true. They DO sell junk food. 100%. And adding qualifications that you should eat a balanced diet doesn't make it less so.
Yeesh. My wife has me pick up McDonald's salads alla time.
When you break any food down to its parts, what do you get? Proteins, fats, carbohydrates? There was a professor who tried to teach people this subject...I think he invented Gatorade...they killed him.
