Another of my fave novella in different season, this is just absolutely great story that I ever read, has anyone here read this

I'm with you there. I wish I had such a club to go to... Even if it does harbor an element of hushed evil (at least that's the impression I got), it would be worth the risk to sit by the blazing fire and hear those stories.

"The Breathing Method" is my favorite of the four stories in Different Seasons, and it's exactly because of the ambiance that others have pointed toward. By the way, Chris, if you were not already aware: the short story "The Man Who Would Not Shake Hands" (in Skeleton Crew) also takes place at the same club. So if you haven't read it, check it out; you will dig it.
