And you can't miss with American Werewolf in London. It has the

Yeah, that Nicholson 'Wolf' movie was awful! Had Michelle Pfieffer in it too.

I didn't care much for Wolf on first viewing, though apparently certain scenes were memorable, since upon second viewing years later I recalled Nicholson and especially Pfeiffer. Nicholson's talent is such that a movie he's in is far less about its subject matter or any other of its aspects than about enjoying being entertained by his ability to entertain. And Wolf is my favorite Pfeiffer performance.

I thought Wolf was a very underappreciated film. Nicholson and Pfeiffer were good - and so was James Spader.

I liked it too. I think why people don't like it is they are expecting a regular horror flick and they get a physiological horror flick instead. I saw it when it came out and was disappointed but years later I saw it again and thought it was good.

Don't remember much about Wolf, cept that it seemed like an updated version of The Werewolf Of London (1935). That's the one in which the werewolf always dresses in his scarf and coat before he goes out to kill folks.

Nobody gonna mention Lon Chaney, Jr? Think I saw him the other day with a chinese menu in his hand, was gonna get a big dish of beef chow mein. Aw-ooooo....
