I like The Howling too.
Loved the book The Howling... not seen the film.
I agree with you folks on here. An American Werewolf In London is the best werewolf ever, bar none, and The Howling, Silver Bullet and the remake of The Wolfman are all fine werewolf movies.
To this list I would add:
DOG SOLDIERS
A low budget indie horror film from Scotland. Very well done and entertaining.
Lemme add Werewolf In A Girl's Dormitory. Stupid movie, but you gotta love that title.
Of coss, there's also I Was A Teengae Werewolf. So bad it's good. And who doesn't love Michael Landon doing a sort of James Dean with Rabies schtick. Awesome.
God, I miss the Drive-Inn...
I really like the The Wolfman remake with Anthony Hopkins and Benicio del Toro...

ummmm, isn't there something from that one lady...
Only thing I recall is Dark Shadows...one of those nice nurturing after-school soaps...the werewolf on screen the last 10 seconds of the show...a hand turning into a claw, fevered dreams. See! And you can't miss with American Werewolf in London. It has the
I didn't end up watching any after all, got too busy with work, but I hopefully will soon. Some great ideas here folks. Thanks.![]()
sometimes you are in a werewolf kinda mood..and not one that is in teenage competition with a vampire for the love of some other teen.. maybe the evil dead will be good, looks nasty..horror movies need to be scary rather than romance novels..![]()
