i agree wholeheartedly, tery...however, i think the motto refers to our trust in god more than the other way around

but...since however you slice it, the very fact it is there assumes that there is a god...and that all americans trust in him/her/it...kinda abrogates that whole 'congress shall make no law' affect...a wee bit

or so the many SC decisons have led us to believe...
