    Spellbound is my favorite Hitchcock film. It has a long dream sequence that was conceived, created, and produced by Dali, and cost $8000 at the time, a whopping amount of money for set design set aside from an entire film production budget.

    Living in Pinellas County, I have been fortunate enough to attend the Dali museum in St Petersburg a few times. I went before and after it was remodeled. The new design is also a big work of art.

    Several of the paintings blunthead posted are in the museum. This one is also there and an amazing thing to see:

    ...I got to see a Dali exhibition in Cleveland, Ohio when I was in high school...it was the crowning moment of my "Fine Arts" class...

    Oh, cool hoss! I'm a member. I haven't seen the new museum yet, tho. Been to the old one several times, bought some stuff from the shop, saw my favorite Dali, "Toreador".

    I first became a fan one night at a friend's house who owned a Dali book. I couldn't believe my eyes.
