It's amazing how the awesome Jefferson Airplane evolved into this ultra crappy band.

Imagine being jangled from sleep on numerous mornings to "We Built This City" being blasted from the community kitchen in your dorm in Germany, by the dorm's Supreme Nerd of Cheesy Uncoolness himself. He l-o-v-e-d this song and couldn't get enough of it. He'd crank it every time Bayern 3 played it, waking the entire population of Bavaria, not to mention the dead as well.

Every time I hear this song, I think, "But ... but ... 'White Rabbit,' guys. What happened?"

Every. Single. Time.

The crappy Starship may have had some hit songs but I don't think they had a real audience left in the 80s. I remember one time in the 80s I was looking to see who was playing in concert in my area and I saw the Starship were playing at the horse track after the horse races one day. Playing at a race track is not a sign of a large devoted following. I thought perfect, they will be right at home with the other horse s*t.

I am gonna hear it on this one, but dammit this song KILLED what was up until this one of my favorite bands and looked to be a promising trend setter in cool. But hell no, they had to go full on mullet, trailer trash, jacked up camaro and put out this song. It's on my all time worst songs ever list. Vomit.
