Pixie Light and pixie Dark

Many of you wont understand that reference , if you havnt real Cell.
and even if you did; you might not remember .

That scene was one of Kings BEST EVER , as far as Im concerned.
It was clear and bright and colorful. Beautiful, and Horrible. It rang as true
as the written word can ring. It also'set up' a great deal of the rest of the
story . It was a short scene that help the reader understand what-all was
going on , but it wasnt cheap or obvious. It was amazing.

Scott's description of Daddy...his hair is standing up in the back...one leg of his Dickies hoicked up almost to the knee...his lower teeth show...and he whirls from the window...strides across to the closet like a crazy scissors. There's so many, but that is one.

People...do you not have a particular scene that
has 'stuck in your mind', and/or : left a funny taste
in your mouth ?

Bag of Bones' was one of my least fav's but the scene
where the old guy and the ugly nurse, start throwing Rocks
has always 'stuck with me'.

also: the last two scenes in TGWLTG. The one where
she "holds still" with the walkman in her hand , and the
very last one ...that signals "game over" .
(I dont think the above are spoilers)

Stephen King has said that "the whole SPOILER thing,
is just for 'whimps' anyhow" . He said this in public.

Forgive me for not remembering the name of the story... but the tale in Everythings Eventual, where the boy goes fishing and bumps into the devil at the riverbank. The way King describes the man, smelling of sulphur. I've just looked it up.. The Man in the Black Suit. Scared the bejeezus out of me.

i really like that scene...in that one book...where king had that really pushy, runty little dwarf with the oogly eyes...i think his name was hiny...or something...and he was a really pushy sort...so the hero threw him into the pit with the hungry hungry hippos and they never saw him again...that's my favorite one

best scene in a really bad book...could be a great scene in a movie if done right...the coke machine from hell chasing down the folks in tommyknockers...a killer soda machine...that's ingenius !!
