We studied the film in my creative writing class. It's so sad but touching.

It's one of the best adaptations of a King novel.
....indeed, it is one of the truest adaptations...Misery and Shawshank are others....
Not only one of the best adaptations, but one of the best films i've ever seen.... period.
havent watch this adaptation yet, gonna look for the dvd copy of it
We studied it in my nursing class during Developmental Psychology. The movie presents four boys, each in his distinct stage of psychological/emotional development.
It's a great movie, Chris. A must see, especially for sK fans.Chris1974100...havent watch this adaptation yet, gonna look for the dvd copy of it

I'd like to screen this for my middle schoolers at lunchtime (the kids who don't head to the cafeteria and socialize, they come to my room to watch fun TV shows. I screened edited versions of movies before, but nothing above PG). I read the novella when I was in middle school and then the film came out a few months later. I loved them both so very much.
Just wrote up a permission slip for the kids to bring to their parents. Wish me luck! I think the parents will be okay with it. I spelled it out exactly (language and gun scene at the end).
First post on here. Hello fellow King fans! Long days and pleasant nights.
