...you know Marsha, when I read the OP, I flashed on a vision of Steve with as many arms as Kali, and a like number of keyboards...tryin' to keep up with all the requests...guess we're gonna have to start payin' for those "Reincarnation 101" courses for him...

I think that Roland's story is pretty much told at this point...

But I'd love to see a novel about early Gilead.... or perhaps, one about ol' Tim from TWTTKH. There are so many possibilities.

I'd read that Tim Stoutheart novel. However, we still have no clue how Gilead fell, or what John Farson's fate might have been, or how Roland got his revenge on Rhea. There's still a lot to be told there. And yes, I have read the comics, which are do not always work for me; we need Uncle Steve's version, not Aunt Robin's. Hers have been fine, but they read to me like high-functioning fanfiction; I'd prefer the real thing, personally.

But I'm a Stephen King fan, and not merely a Dark Tower fan, so I'm happy to let him write whatever he wants to write. Whatever it is, I'll be reading it!

There are also the many other books that are tie-ins to the series. Some examples include: Rose Madder, Insomnia, Everything's Eventual, The Talisman and Black House.

Perhaps King will get the urge to tell the full tale of the fall of the White someday as you and I hope.

All great explaines, Nate... some of my favorite tie-ins. Some of my favorite tie-ins are...

Low Men in Yellow Coats (novella found in Hearts in Atlantis)- The story of Ted Brautigan being hunted down by the Low Men, after escaping Algul Siento.

Little Sisters of Eularia (short story found in Everythings Eventual)- An early tale of Roland, set before the events of The Gunslinger, but many years after Wizard and Glass.

Roadwork- (Bachman Novel)- The priest in at the New Years Eve party, Phil Drake, is actually Father Callahan, during his time wandering the highways in hiding. And which highway runs through the town he lives in? Hwy 478 (4+7+8=19)

Everythings Eventual- (Short story from Everythings Eventual)- A story which features Ted Brautigan's fellow breaker, Dinky Earnshaw.

Eyes of the Dragon- Set in Mid World, in the kingdom of Delain, the main villian is none other than Walter aka Flagg.

I'll take this opportunity to plug one of our special projects here on StephenKing.com.

It's not necessarily cannon, but in many ways Discordia is a continuation of DT and is fully approved and supported by Stephen. If you're looking for food for thought as to what happens after the series, Discordia offers a ton of cool concepts for your imagination run with.

The first chapter of the game, released in late 2009, sets the stage for life after the final books as seen through the eyes of a Tet Corporation operative working in New York City and Mid-Wold. A very much expanded Chapter II, (now in development) takes the original concepts and goes full throttle into uncharted territory.

The 3D art for chapter II is now complete and production on the actually game play will begin later this month. You can expect artwork leaks and a sick trailer some time in the near future.
