Where’s the disdain?

As someone who is officially registered as an Independent, I can tell you that not being designated as either of the two big box parties doesn't help make you feel any better about it.

As someone who is officially registered as an Independent, I can tell you that not being designated as either of the two big box parties doesn't help make you feel any better about it.

I guess that would be the case, but at least I won’t feel compelled to defend suspect actions of a particular party or make excuses when they go against their core principles.

I’m at the point where if I break it down to a basic of:

Liberals favor government action to promote equality. Conservatives favor government action to promote order. Libertarians favor freedom and oppose government action to promote either equality or order.

I’ve reached the point where I would have to say I’m a Libertarian.

Political parties are a little like organized religions for me. I've found parts of several of them to resonate for me but overall, not enough there to make a full commitment.
