I'll be making jam today...strawberry...strawberry/rhubarb...if I have time, raspberry & blackberry, combos. Yesterday, used the last of the jam we had. When I looked at the web-cam--link at post #163--Calumet's street was...bare...but now when I look, it has been refreshed w/snow...snow...snow! Big fluffy flakes.
For your listening pleasure, a song Dave Riutta recorded back when I was a kid...I delivered the Gazette to him yay ago...up on Tamarack Mills hill. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cI3wcFiUcko

It's 57 degrees and sunny here right now but it's unbelievably WINDY, with gusts up to 45 mph. There's a high fire danger down in southern California today because of the strong winds the whole state is experiencing.
Looks like officially we got around 5 inches last night, but it looks like a lot more outside my window. The kids' wagon is buried on the front lawn, you can see just the front edge. Pretty good drifts out in the street, too. Another 3-5 inches expected today.
So, not quite as bad as they were saying, seems like we were on the outer edge again.
