    Default Could Someone Clarify the Alternate Ending?

    OK I guess I'm slow...and a hopeless romantic...

    But the alternate ending SEEMS to me to say that in an alternate string of some kind he

    DID end up with Sadie...albeit under a different name...as she called him her "guardian angel."

    But if that is the case, how did he end up back there, when he actually decided not to go back?

    ...no confusion necessary, I think that's one of those things that Unca Steve does-so you can draw your own conclusions, and write a happier ending for your own peace of mind...
