I just had a quick discussion with an older female coworker who said "I hate Stephen King" when I mentioned about the Jeopardy episode. I replied "I LOVE Stephen King" but it was hard for me to come up with lots of examples of his work that were not all that gory.
I could recall Duma Key, 11/22/63 for starters and I mentioned that "The Green Mile" movie was from a book (series) by Stephen King.
Does anybody out there have some more valid examples of nongory books that are not too full of blood, vampires, horror etc.?
Thanks!![]()
