My feelings exactly.I have so many meetings during the week I can't avoid, I try to leave Fridays open to get actual work done. Then somebody will call another meeting, on a late Friday afternoon, really?

Do what I sometimes do...beat them to the punch by scheduling a 3-hour Friday afternoon meeting where you only invite yourself...then don't show up. This blocks the time off.
