Default Stephen King characters who remind you of people you know in real life or from tv

Focusing specifically on the books (not the movies), are there any SK characters that remind you of people that you know, or have known in your life? Any characters who you imagine looking like people you know in life?

When I read a SK novel, there is usually 1 or 2 characters from the book who either look just like someone I know, or their character just reminds me of them (or both). For instance, Jake Epping looks exactly the drummer in my old college bar band, who I went to college with. Their personalities were nothing alike, but in my head they looked the exact same. Odd I know. And the Yellow Card Man looks just like a bum who hangs out in front of my work, and digs through trash bins.

In Under the Dome, Ginny the nurse looks just like my old hs girlfriend (a grown up version), but like Epping and my old college band-mate, act nothing alike. However, Junior Rennie looks like an old co-worker, and while I am sure he had never actually murdered anyone, I could imagining him doing it, because like Junior, the guy was a bit off kilter, mentally. And big Jim Rennie looked like a guy who used to live in my neighborhood, named Jim ironically.

Harold Lauder from The Stand looks like my cousin Chuck. Chuck was a creeper. The girls back in the day could vouch. And oddly, Frannie looked like Lindsay Lohan.

Oddly, I picture Ted Brautigan as looking like Bob Ross (the happy clouds guy) although I dont know Bob Ross. I have no clue why... I certainly never imagined him looking like Anthony Hopkins.

Many of us picutre Roland Deschain as Clint Eastwood. I imagine him as the Scott Glenn character from Urban Cowboy.

Any ones you all would like to share?

I always relate to SK's descriptions of small town and rural life. When I was a kid, the area of Florida I'm in had a small population. West Palm Beach was the closest city of any size and it wasn't all that big. Basically, I lived in Hooterville and West Palm Beach was Pixley. Even Orlando wasn't much of anything (until Disney World was built). So, with the exception of a major difference in climate, the places and people in SK's Maine remind me a lot of where I grew up.

Cool. There was actually a guy in my 10th grade American Lit. class who always used to say, "laws yes". I dunno if he got it from the movie or the book... the guy was sort of .... simple... so he may have come about the use of that word honestly. He is now a tv preacher on the local religious channel. I watch him every Sunday night at 1 AM.... waiting for a "laws yes". It never comes....

There`s a character in "the tommyknckers" called Becca Paulson, & when she reminisces about her father, he sounds a lot like my dad.
