If we were in Jeddah, we'd all get into the habit of telling others "go with God".

    But we're not.

When I worked retail I wished everyone a Merry Christmas, and if I knew they were Jewish, I'd tell them to have a Happy Hannukah. And if I knew the person didn't celebrate either holiday, I'd say "may you and yours not suffer flu this winter".

I've never been offended by any well wisher, whether I shared the holiday with them or not.

The author is right about too much government intervention, too many laws. He could be talking about the US government also.

    Yes, especially this part:

We typically begin our politically conscious lives as youth sympathetic to big government. But as the years go by we see more and more examples of people trying to wield the hammer of government for their own vendettas and niche interests. Eventually you become cynical about the whole scene.
There are compelling arguments both for and against the above issues. But most of their solutions ultimately rest in the private sphere (or at least a lower level of government, in Spence’s case). Stop getting the government involved in the minutiae of daily conflicts

    Hi!

I think this qualifies as nonsense.

The woman read the sign and tried to get away with it. Now, she feels *violated*?

On the other hand, for the local sheriff to track her down "as a favor"...leaves a bad taste in my mouth. (That sounds/reads weird, huh? )

    Peace.
