inheritated a dear departed friends books. When he was alive, he really was more of a friend of my husbands than mine. Anyhooo, Stephen King was really the only thing we had in common if I'm honest. I remember it was him that introduced me to the Dark Tower series, and I was stunned I didn't even know they existed.
They were beautiful books, all illustrated, absolutely beautiful. He passed away later that year (4 years ago, the day after my sons birthday). His kids (who were 18 and 14) invited me over some months later to go through his books. They, along with their grandparents, had just boxed up what they thought might be worth something and left the rest for me to go through. I saw that unfortunately the Dark Tower series had been broken up. I've only got The Gunslinger and The Drawing of the Three and Wolves now (they say First Publication on the cover, and have beautiful illustrations). I would love to source the others, but don't have a clue where to start. Any pointers? I'm longing to read the whole lot again anyway but want to wait till I get the complete series together. Thanks.
