Speaking of which, I saw a bald eagle the other day.

With the light winter we had last year, there seemed to have been an overpopulation of squirrels over the summer. Which led to much more roadkill. Plenty of food for the crows. I'm sure the crows thrived, and maybe became a little overpopulated themselves.

I was walking along a country road one day and came across a vulture in the middle of the highway eating roadkill. Have you guys ever seen a vulture close up? They are UGLY!
